Sand Dollar 207

We have been visiting the Sand Dollar for over 5 years as a family. We love the family feel, location and every condo we have stayed in has come equipped with what our large family needs. It's something we look forward to every year and now it feels like home when we come. This past stay our daughter became engaged on the white beaches we have grown to love. What a memory we all have now!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Fantastic place and location but needs to maintain and refurbish after the storm that has been there. The apartment was absolutely superb and you can enjoy the view every day under the sun.The staff are fantastic and you always get help and good service.Thank you very much, will definitely be back

The view above the pool was so nice for family members who didn't always want to come down. They could sit on the balcony and watch everyone else. Loved how close the sand was from our room.

We stayed in unit 207 at the Sand Dollar the same one as Oct. 2023 and had a wonderful time. As of last October we had 2 units to accommodate 6 adults and 4 grandsons. The unit was in great shape with a wonderful balcony overlooking the Gulf along with spectacular sunsets.The pool, hot tub, beach and pier were all added pleasures. We will return.

We had a great week. We've been coming there for 14 years. Always have been satisfied. A couple suggestions, get rid of the wristbands, the guests are not children. Also, it would be nice to have Keurig coffee machines and a reclining chair in the living room of all units.

Unit 207 overall was nice. Comfortable furniture and beds. Beautiful location and loved the 2nd floor. Personally it could use another cookie sheet and a few more pot holders. Also the master bed is not attached well to the headboard and hit the wall every time one of us moved.

Driving down from Michigan, we received a call in South Carolina that the condo we reserved at another complex canceled us. Holly at JC Resorts found us a place at Sand Dollar to stay. They were very gracious and accommodating.

We have stayed with JC Resorts units seven times now in the past several years. Ram Sea, Emerald Isle, Hamilton House and now Sand Dollar. We have enjoyed each visit but the Sand Dollar has been by far the best. This time our whole family came with us, 10 people in total. We had unit 207 (3 bedrooms) and unit 205 (2 bedrooms). Both units were great, clean, spacious, large balconies with wonderful views of the Gulf of Mexico and the beach. We will be booking the same for next year.

Overall our stays was good except for a few things. The whole week we stayed we had neighbors who played very loud music day in and day out til 10 pm on the beach and at the pool. There were a few broken furniture at our apartment as well as stove burners didn't work properly because it was very old.The shower handle at one of the bathrooms was very hard to open and outlets in the second bedroom are bad...need replacement. The management sent a person to fix furniture as soon as we mentioned about it. Otherwise location and the cleanliness of the our unit was very good.

Pros: beautiful view, clean and comfortable condo, kitchen well supplied, nice large and clean pool and hot tub Cons: only one elevator and it was slow, master bathroom toilet was VERY low to the ground, bed was quite high, shower has a large step down (for those with mobility issues)Wishes: put hooks in the bathrooms for bathing suits and clothes, put bathroom nightlights in both baths, have a luggage rack in each bedroom for suitcases, could use a couple more tiki huts and tables around the pool for shade

We had a wonderful time. We like having the pool and hot tub so close to the ocean. It works out perfectly. WE like going on the pier to watch the sunsets. We have been to Sand Dollar several times and always have a great time.

Our families have been staying at the Sand Dollar for 25+ years and always leave wanting more time! We've created so many memories here. Holly and Annette in the office are so nice and always accommodate.

We had a wonderful time at the Sand Dollar Resort! Great location right on the beach, close to groceries and food. The pool and hot tub are awesome. The staff was wonderful and helpful! Quiet neighborhood and great for families. The property is somewhat dated and could use some small improvements (some missing light bulbs and the carpet could be updated) but this did not detract from our overall wonderful stay.

Girls trip to celebrate friend's birthday. There were 7 of us including an infant and 5 year old. Loved the pool, hot tub and bring right on the beach. 3 bedroom condo was comfortable and spacious. We already booked again for next year!

Checked in after hours and process was very smooth. The property and condo were well taken care of. Loved the pool, hot tub and especially the private pier.The staff was very nice and answered ALL of my questions. :)

I love the Sand Dollar. The timing was a bit off as kids on Spring break monopolized the jacuzzi and the beach chairs. Sunsets were lovely & enjoyed using the grill. Problem with AC, but mgmt tried hard to fix.
