Sand Dollar 103

Pool and hot tub was great. The elevator was not working on Thursday and that was hard for us. We made sure there was an elevator before we booked. We had a couple of handicapped people with us.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. We have stayed at the Sand Dollar for the last 5 year or so and they our stay has always been exceptional. The ladies at the desk are always helpful and friendly. Everything is up to date and clean. And it is great to meet other families who stay when we are there! The area is nice with lots of options for dining and leisure. All around a wonderful place for vacation with family!

Our week at the Sand Dollar unit 103 was a welcome getaway. The beachfront unit was spacious and clean and allowed for stunning views of the sunset over the Gulf. The office staff was friendly and extremely helpful, going out of their way to be sure we were well informed and comfortable. We would definitely stay at this resort again.

Our vacation experience was relaxing with a beautiful view and amenities as always. We are accustomed to the Sand Dollar and the surrounding area, making it our annual getaway. Anette and the other staff are always friendly and make us feel at home.

I invited my sons and their families to enjoy the final week of summer with me at the Sand Dollar. We had a fun week watching the storm roll in and out. The winds made for larger waves which were a big hit with the kids. Our unit was clean and comfortable with spectacular views. Management does a great job maintaining the property and responding to issues if you have them. I recommend this place to all my friends and family. We are regulars every summer.

The Sand Dollar is such a great spot to visit. We were very pleased with our stay - wonderful vacation. The unit is very large and well maintained. It was super clean when we arrived. 3 large bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen and the view from the balcony is the icing on the cake. We loved the convenience of being on the first floor and being able to take the stairs. The only 'cons' we would mention is the poor/outdated lighting in the bathrooms - or lighting in the unit overall (one bedroom did not have a lamp, only a ceiling fan light). They would benefit from some LED lighting. We also had a small issue with the A/C unit (which staff was able to assist with). The beach! The pier! Amazing! Soft, powdery sand and the water was fantastic. The heated salt water pool and hot tub are a bonus! Such a great way to end the afternoon. The whole facility is very clean and secure. The staff is all amazing and work very hard to give you what you need for a great stay.

The condo gave us so much room and was clean. It had a musty smell and wish there was more comfortable balcony seating. We enjoyed the amenities and views from the balcony. The staff was very helpful and responded quickly. The heated pool and hot tub were great! Would stay here again!

Ever since the first time that we had found this particular rental, it left such an impression that we have continued coming back year after year. The property description was quite accurate and has all the amenities one would expect. The view from the balcony is awesome and it's only one floor down from the beach. There are stairs and an elevator for convenience. There's also a pool and hot tub. The location of the rental is close to several places like publix, restaurants, ice cream shops. There's just so much to like about this rental. The condo itself is clean has three bedrooms and two baths. The master bedroom has access to the balcony and amazing view. There are beach chairs, sand toys, inflatables and different items for the beach or the pool available in one of the closets. The kitchen has most if not all the things one would need to cook a meal if so inclined. Overall this is a place I would recommend over and over and would return to yearly.

Sand Dollar never disappoints! The pool & beach are side by side for easy access to both for the day. The room was fantastic! The staff go above & beyond to make sure you have an awesome stay. Highly recommend!

The unit we initially booked had an issue with the air conditioner. Fortunately the staff was able to relocate us to a similar unit that was nice and cool. We very much enjoyed the pool, hot tub and the use of the grills. The staff was very helpful with a special thanks to Anna and Holly. They all made our stay one to remember. Our family would love to come back again and make more memories

We enjoyed the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, seeing the dolphins and talking with staff was incredible. Clearwater Aquarium boat ride had a marine biologist on it that involved netting creatures from the bay and educating us about what we found. The only complaint we had was twice staff came into our room without notification to provide regular maintenance. It felt awkward.

It's been 25 years since l was last year not much has changed.same fabulous beach location and view.Same beautiful pool hot tub and the Sand dollar fishing pier all well maintained. Front desk staff kind cheerful and helpful. Grounds and building also well maintained. My unit 103 has not changed either. Furniture from the eighties needs new couches bathroom shower fixtures very old as is tile. I scrubbed them down as there was black mold on the tiles and soaked shower heads in CLR. Mattresses are new so that's my main want when always comfortable beds which 103 has. Condo outfitted well with beach towels washer dishwasherDryer beach chairs toys etc.Everything works well just don't expect it to be modern. Quiet building no Loud parties great place for quiet and family time.

Condo needs a few upgrades: Living room area rug, sofa & love seat need to be replaced. Everything else was fine. Pool & hot tub were excellent, view of Gulf was beautiful. Not within walking distance to restaurants or shopping, but a couple minute drive either way and you are near everything you could want.

We rented 2 condos (3 BR each) in Sand Dollar. I am reviewing 103. The location was wonderful; perfect beach front view, and numerous things to do in area or a short drive/walk.The condo itself: small things need fixing/updating but other than that very pleased.Shower off master - the rod is rusty/old - simple/inexpensive fix which should be done.Shower - hooks not very secure for holding the curtain/liner, continuously coming loose, recommend fixing.Master bath - toilet paper fixture loose and falling.Water faucet in kitchen - the "hot" (normally left)/"cold"(normally right) is switched. That is universal, I would recommend fixing that.King bed in front area (first room on right) -- frame was broken and bed sagging in the middle. The maintenance was GREAT/VERY HELPFUL and fixed right away upon us noticing it (something you would expect that would be done before you arrive).TV's - challenging to figure out and get working ... Maintenance extremely helpful! front right bedroom the cable box is balanced precariously on top of tv, which I thought would be better on a shelf/table.Beach Towels - there were no beach towels for the condo upon us arriving, but office/rental company did bring up 8 new towels that the owner authorized upon us asking about it.Closets - lots of "stuff" in the closets for guests to use, which is appreciated! However, not organized/very cluttered and messy.Sofa - comfortable but need updating, there were a few scratches and stains on the leather sofa Overall - the property is nice and the location is ideal. The condo itself was very roomy and clean. I thought the outside areas of the units were very secure (security codes for each individual unit).trash piled up every day at the trash chute, not sure this can be avoided with # of units Kitchen - simple supplies needed (dish soap/diswasher tablets) needed more than allocatedUpdates seem simple and needed. Sand Dollar 103 is an awesome beach front location. My family and I have been going there for years and there is a reason we keep going back every year. It's a three bedroom two bath condo. Has pretty updated deco. The appliances are functional. It has a very nice atmosphere that my family appreciates. There are beach chairs and some beach toys available for the kids. The view from the main room is absolutely fantastic or you can go out to the balcony for better viewing. There's nothing more relaxing than the sound of the waves and the look of the white sand beach. It's totally awesome. The location of the condo is also good. You are not too far from Publix and different restaurants. The pool and hot tub are a plus. The front desk was very helpful during our stay if you need extra supplies. All in all, it's a great place to stay to get away from everyday life.

We really enjoyed our stay and will consider coming back the only thing that I did not like is my son's girlfriend has four children and my daughter and her three children and myself which totals ten and only allowing for seven wristbands. We wanted to be all together as a Family and splitting the cost of the room. Her kids were not able to come and be with with us but had to be left behind. I was only told this when I had to sign the paperwork and only found out then that the remaining balance was taken out of my account which I was told could be paid when I got there by the person I talked to when I made the reservations. I called and talked to TC on this and she told me I was given the wrong information. We would love to come back but as a Family. Families should be able to all be together on Vacation and not have anyone staying back if Family is sharing. We were splitting the room that was three bedrooms two baths so that's the only complaint I everybody was very friendly very nice and caring and again I did enjoy my stay in will consider coming back that's the only rule in place I did not like so I hope that can change in the future

We have spent Memorial Day week at the Sand Dollar for the last 20+ years (not including last year-Covid). The location (close to shopping, grocery stores and wonderful restaurants), beach front access, amenities (pool, hot tub, grills etc) are all top notch. However, I will not rent this particular unit again-outdated, especially the kitchen (coffee maker, stove, dryer and refrigerator all need help). Garbage pick up was an issue this year (garbage shoot was full and bags were piled up in front of it), and I miss the once a week "maid" service (fresh towels and garbage disposal) as well as the daily newspaper. Most of the units could use more deck furniture. Overall, this resort feels like home and I'll be back for another 20+ years. Wish we could bring our animals :(.

Great Vacation-We had a wonderful vacation at Sand Dollar Resort. The condo was very nice and clean. The staff at the resort went above and beyond assisting us with any questions and providing information. I would highly recommend this resort.

This was a wonderful and delightful stay. The management and staff at Sand Dollar were very attentive and always willing to help with our daily experiences. When it came time to reschedule they worked hard to accommodate. The unit we rented was ready and clean when we arrived. There was a washer that needed to be replaced and they informed us and worked around our schedule in a reasonable manner. We look forward to a return stay next year.
