Hamilton House 101

I think this is our 5th time staying at the Hamilton House and we always have a great time. Love IRB!!!

Minor issues bedeviled our stay: burned out light bulbs in kitchen, dining area and main bath; missing bulb in main bath light bar; no dish detergent and not enough tabs for auto dishwasher for 3 week stay; none of the TVs and cable box are in sync; living room TV had a constant and annoying Google message to log in.

The condo was very clean and beachfront. Plenty of towels and a well-stocked kitchen (besides not having cookie sheets). It would be nice to be able to check in without driving to a physical location for check-in, but it wasn't too far. There was someone on staff who cleaned the common areas daily. The pool is small but the kids loved it. My biggest complaint is the walkway to the beach. It's these large square pavers that are not connected and stick up, making it nearly impossible to pull a cart or wagon. My MIL needed a beach wheelchair and this path was very difficult to get the chair to the beach. Another issue was that the bedrooms did no it cool off nearly as much as the main living space, so we had to sleep with doors open or it would get very stuffy and hot. Curtains on windows would help keep all of the lights from the building next door as well as outside lights from flooding in the window at night. The beach equipment left was nice, but not usable as it was all rusty and in disrepair. Having beach towels provided was great! The location was fantastic, being within walking distance to several restaurants. Management was quick to respond to any issues my family in a different condo had, and they made accommodations for early check in as best as they could. Overall, we would stay here again but strongly encourage the building management to fix the path to the beach.

This year we booked 2 units for ourselves and family. They were both great and we enjoyed having everyone close. The beach is still the best but getting busier every year. Weather was great and the water was warm. See you next year

Excellent location. The only real problem we had was the master bedroom mattress. We never had a good night's sleep on our vacation. Worst mattress we've ever laid on. Everything was very nice. Sand Dollar employees were excellent, especially Annette who was a pleasure to talk to.

We have been vacationing in this area for quite some time. This is the first time we stayed at Hamilton House. We were very pleased with how nice the condo was!! Exactly as described and pictured. The beds are super comfy too. We were so excited to see there were beach chairs in the closet!! Plenty of bathroom towels and even beach towels! The balcony was perfect for relaxing and watching the sunsets!! We will definitely consider staying here again!

Love the building's location and this condo was very 's great that the balcony was over a grassy area rather than being over the pool, making for a quiet location. The bed rooms were very nice and everything we needed for our stay was available. Love that great restaurants like Guppy's and Keagans are just a walk away and love that we have. choice between the beach and pool.

The location is excellent, less than 45 minutes from Tampa airport, good parking facilities, nice pool area (heated pool), beautiful beach. Across the street there is an Italian restaurant (TJ's), pizza joint (Chicago Jaqx), seafood restaurant (Keegan's) and about 1 to 2 blocks away a locals bar (Hurricane Eddies) and small grocery/convenient store. Lots of other restaurants and shopping up and down the road. Had to make a few phone calls before check in to verify some info and everyone I spoke with was professional and very friendly. Key codes for all entries. There were 6 beach towels and beach toys, a couple of chairs and small umbrella to use in one of the closets, no cooler, although we brought our own collapsible one. Well stocked kitchen, provided small bath soaps and some starter TP. It's really nice to have ocean/beach view from the primary bedroom as it shares the large balcony. Plenty of storage space in the drawers and hangars in the closet. Great shower in the primary bath. We spent a lot of time on the balcony gazing at the beach/ocean. Would stay here again. Enjoy!

We booked on the first floor of Hamilton House. The building is the perfect size and ample parking. The beach access was extremely close the pool was nice with plenty of seating. We found 3 new restaurants across the street that we will try the next time we are down. The area is quiet and close to everything. JC Management was extremely helpful with our late check in and early check out. They were also very responsive when we needed anything.

This is my second time staying at Hamilton House. The condo was beautiful and actually more modern than the pictures. The view from the balcony is spectacular. Close to restaurants and an easy trolley ride to Clearwater and Madeira Beach. The only negatives would be that there were only two functional beach chairs, both were old and uncomfortable. There was no cooler for the beach which would have been useful. The zero gravity chair on the balcony was also very uncomfortable. These were definitely small inconveniences. The week we stayed, there was a large group of 38 people at the property, so we were not able to enjoy the pool as they dominated the space all week. The property manager was very helpful when I spoke to her about the situation. I believe this was unusual, and it would not stop me from recommending this condo. It’s a beautiful place with a great location.

Check in was quick and easy and staff was very friendly. The view from our large balcony was amazing and the size of condo was perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids under 2. Little to no stock on paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags) and hand soap or dish soap. Plenty of bath towels and a few beach chairs were very nice to have. Staff gave a great reccomendation for rental baby supplies ( our little suitcase) which was fantastic to work with. We will definitely be booking another stay here soon!

The JC team was fantastic, as usual, especially in helping us through an unexpected flight delay/late arrival situation. Unit 101 could use some updating and the master bed was not very comfortable. Also, the unit was not as clean/spotless as we would’ve preferred. Despite these minor issues, we had a wonderful time at the HH and can’t wait to return-just likely to a different unit. Dealing with the JC team made our vacation relaxing and stress free!

Condo needed some cleaning before I would unpack :( Drawers were filthy inside, all furniture was dusty and visibly dirty, some of the dishes needed washed before using. We also had some issues with bugs that management did not feel the need to address, but they were very pleasant and professional to speak with during that call and especially at booking and check in. Kitchen is stocked ok. Most essentials were there. Very, very firm mattresses! Balcony was a dream to sit on and you cannot beat hearing the sound of the ocean when you’re laying in bed at night exhausted from a day in the sun. Condo is in a great location, walkable to many good restaurants (and ice cream shops)! Short drive to parks and Clearwater, but the beach and those turquoise waters were the best thing about this stay!

This is an excellent property and we would gladly stay here again the views from patio were unobstructed directly on the ocean. The condo had beach umbrella and chairs and all the utensils you might need. There are a few restaurants in walking distance. We strongly recommend TJ Italian restaurant across the street. The mgmnt was very helpful and check in was a breeze

This was our first time staying in Indian Rocks Beach and we couldn’t have hoped for a better place to stay! Our room was very clean, had plenty of extra towels and washcloths, and a million dollar view of the ocean from our bedroom and the living room! The owners were very communicative, which made the experience that much better, and for that we are very thankful! We will definitely be staying there again! The JC team was fantastic, as usual, especially in helping us through an unexpected flight delay/late arrival situation. Unit 101 could use some updating and the master bed was not very comfortable. Also, the unit was not as clean/spotless as we would've preferred. Despite these minor issues, we had a wonderful time at the HH and can't wait to return-just likely to a different unit. Dealing with the JC team made our vacation relaxing and stress free!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. This condo is perfect for a family holiday, 2 spacious bedrooms, the main en suite has a beautiful view overlooking the beach and the double balcony is a lovely viewing point for the sunset. Good size kitchen and living area, second bathroom good size as well. Car parking underneath building and second spot if needed is available. Lifts with trolleys available for you luggage is helpful as well. Good size pool and seating area if you want a break from the beautiful beach. Had a perfect stay and will definitely be booking again for another visit.

It was perfect for our family! Spacious, clean and right on the beach. I especially liked the large kitchen and on site laundry. I rented 2 units (side by side) and that worked so well for my two kids and their families. I would recommend Hamilton House!!

The property was nice, and updated! Beautiful floors, granite tops in the kitchen and master bath. The bi fold doors need attention, knobs would pull of the door, or the doors would come off tracks. I reported it, it should be easily fixed. The view was great! There was a lot of seaweed floating in the water and the water was a little murky. A Crock-Pot would be a nice addition in the kitchen! Beds are comfortable, stocked with extra pillows, blankets, and extra towels which was great! I was very pleased that there were sand toys, an umbrella, and chairs. Maybe add to the advertisement, because I brought all that with me. Not many board games other than puzzles, but we brought some. The beach was not over crowded. The Hamilton House was quiet at night. No one causing any problems. Overall my family had a wonderful time!
