Emerald Isle 203

Had a great stay. Our grandsons really had a wonderful time. The lobby is small and can get crowded. The staff is so friendly and helpful. We would book another trip here next time.

The gate keys did not work and nothing was done to correct the issue after it was reported. It would have been nice to have beach chairs. I would recommend this property IF the gate key issue is fixed. It was a big frustration, as we had to ask other parties to open the gates for us. The condo was spotless on arrival. The view from the balcony of the beach was the best part for us. The sunsets every night were spectacular. We loved the area very much, There are so many restaurants and stores. Our favorite place was John’s Pass. Lots of fun!

We had a fantastic vacation with JC Resort Management. They even went above and beyond and made an accommodation for us so we could take advantage of the heated pool for my son. Fantastic views, clean and comfortable. Tough to beat the experience!

Those owners had not been to their condo in over 3 years due to Covid as well. Owners try very hard to hold their space as far in advance as they can. This time it was not possible. It is extremely rare that it happens and we always try to find an acceptable alternative. Emerald Isle 203 is beautiful and was recently refurbished. Thank you for your nice comment about Pam and our staff. we appreciate it and hope to see you again soon..

Overall this is a nice place to stay. Great location, beautiful views of beach but it could use some updates. The TV in the master bedroom did not work there was no TV in the other bedrooms. The main living room TV did not have access to your Netflix and things like that. The beds were extremely hard. We asked for toppers but they really only sent mattress pads. It definitely could use a deep cleaning. There was a lot of dust buildup and the door going out on the patio from the main bedroom was rusted and you could not get it to the really close. You could hear a lot of annoying noise from people going to and from the pool area which was right below.

Reviewer Comments: I will say I had somewhat low expectations for the unit based on previous comments and I actually was pleasantly surprised. The unit is very similar to others we have rented on N. Redington at similar price points. The things I would change were things I knew about upfront-the carpet in the bedrooms, the one parking space per unit and lack of guest parking, and the use of physical keys rather than key pad entry. These were all things that would make me think twice about staying at the property in the future but they did not ruin our week while we were there. We had one problem with the sliding glass door to the balcony being off track and hard to open/close and that was fixed right away. There were no beach towels provided or beach chairs but fortunately we are local and brought our own. Even for a holiday week, there were parking spaces that remained empty the entire week. The unit next to us was boarded up and obviously not being used. When I asked the property managers if we could use of the unused spaces for guest parking, we were told no. I was disappointed in the response given the spots went unused the entire week. We will probably look for a unit that does not have carpet and allows for two parking spaces next year. If things don't bother you than this would be a great condo to rent.

The owner has plans to replace the carpeting and do some additional updating. We are just waiting for our slower occupancy period..The work will be done this fall. We are currently in the process of transitioning from keyed locks in all of the condos we manage. This is ongoing and working around occupancy as well. As to the parking issue, all condos at Emerald Isle have only one parking space. We re bound HOA regulations and cannot issue permits for what may appear to be unused spaces. Not all condos at Emerald Isle are rentals. We would do it if we could. Thanks again for taking the time to write. We hope to see you again soon.

Everything was really great about this property. My daughter recently had knee surgery so we were looking for something very close to the water and this was it! The condo was great and very clean. The only drawback was the keys! Not sure I understand why there isn’t at least a keypad at the pool and beach. Having to keep up with keys (that sometimes didn’t work!) was really frustrating and truly, a little odd for 2022! The condo and location made it worth it but we definitely recommend updating the access!

Lovely condo. Nicely laid out. Downside is the carpet in bedrooms was dirty. There was a musty smell in the rooms, probably from the carpets. I bought room deodorizers to try and get the musty smell out. It helped some. Other than that, the kitchen was greatly stocked and the furnishings were lovely! We loved our view, the spacious deck and the sound of the ocean.

Terrific location if you are looking for easy beach access. Spacious balcony, dining, living room, kitchen, and bedrooms. Across the street - Dunkin Donuts. The area is very quiet. The furniture is comfortable and the beds too. Owner does not provide beach towels; bring your own. The pool is very clean. Was there 1 week and saw pool being cleaned 3 times. Overall, an excellent stay and would definitely return to Emerald Isle 203.

Location is great between St. Pete's and Clearwater. Property is great with direct beach access and pool. Unit 203 nice enough and has some modern upgrades, but is outdated with other things (old TV, dated bathroom). Only thing that was disappointing was the cleanliness when we arrived. There was a lot of dust that clearly hadn't been touched in a while on things like fans, baseboards, etc...as well as garbage under dressers and beds that weren't moved to vacuum.

A new mattress is definitely needed. On all beds my young ones even complained of back pain. 2. The shower in the master bath took forever to get warm and there was hardly any water pressure. The key system, while somewhat inconvenient, was really no big deal. Public beach access is right next to the pool so I understand, and appreciate the security. Although, often people would leave the gates propped open.Pool and grounds were clean. The condo itself was clean. We loved our stay in condo 203. The view was spectacular. Location was perfect, not too busy which is what we were going for. The key system, while somewhat inconvenient, was really no big deal. Public beach access is right next to the pool so I understand, and appreciate the security. Although, often people would leave the gates propped open.Pool and grounds were clean. The condo itself was clean. It could use a little TLC as far as carpets being cleaned and fresh paint but all in all, it was clean and comfortable. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Overall the place is nice. Great location to the beach, pool and restaurants. The inside is nice, of course as most Rentals the beds aren’t as good as your personal beds but these were fine. The one aggravation is the key system. You must carry a traditional key everywhere you go. From getting in the building, to the pool, to the beach and back and of course the room. It would be a big help to have a fob style lock to scan especially when going to the pool and beach carrying all your gear. Parking is fine as long as you have one car. Two cars and you will have issues. I probably would not rent in this building again just due to the key and parking situation but may not be an issue to most.

It was awesome as a family of 5 we had plenary of space. The condo had everything you could need for a week at the beach including a shared closet of beach toys, chairs, and necessities which really need to be highlighted in rental. There was one down fall the water pressure in the showers is very low but other that’s that it was awesome would stay there again

Except for mother nature's red tide, everything was perfect the condo, the beach, the pool, the neighborhood. I would definitely recommend to anyone and possibly stay again which I do not do.

Y’all, this place is absolute perfection! The view is spectacular, the place is beautiful, and the host and process was seamless! This was a perfect vacation for my family! literally steps from the beach, it’s a small complex of condos which allows the experience to more personal and not Over crowded. The condo had everything! The big green inter tube in the hall way closet was a hit with my boys (10&13) and they also had beach toys for my 2 year old! We definitely plan to make this our yearly vacation, maybe even more than yearly! Thank you for opening Your beautiful condo for our family to make memories and many more to come!

This floor plan, decor, proximity to the beach, stunning sunset views, parking, and overall general vibe was exactly what I had hoped for. There was an ample supply of linens, kitchen equipment and even beach toys. To my Mother's great delight there was a piano which she enjoyed playing daily. The living/dining/patio area furniture was very comfortable. My only disappointment was how dirty the floors were. The tile and carpet need a deep cleaning.

Really enjoyed to property. Only 24 units and many live there, so not really crowded. Beach area is Really Nice! Balcony Faces SW, so sun isn’t right in your eyes at sunset, But GREAT Sunset Views!! Unit was as advertised, could use a little TLC( new carpet & paint) by nice over all. Would not hesitate staying there again

Locations was awesome, The condo had a few issues that were not fixed while we were there. The garbage disposer broke and was never replaced but it was towards the last few days of our trip so it was only a minor inconvenience. The dishwasher didn't clean the dishes but I didn't report it because i thought maybe i had loaded it wrong but time and time again they were dirty like the arm in the bottom wasn't spinning water around. The most concerning issue is the rug that had been taped in the long hallway. It is a dangerous tripping hazard and should be taken up immediately the tape isn't working. I tripped on it every time i came out of the master bedroom.Over all we had a great vacation and would return and recommend the condo to others. As a VRBO owner myself I would suggest maybe some new mattresses

Condo was comfortable and well stocked. Thanksgiving getaway with immediate family and it was better than we expected. Beautiful sunsets every evening and sleep to the waves crashing every night. Thank you for sharing your special place with us.

Need 2 parking spots there was no street parking available and the visitors parking was taken all week by the same two vehicles. Ended up parking a mile down the road at a friends rental house.

I grew up on this beach and used to own a home here. I’ve stayed At several beach rentals over the years. This Hass to be the cleanest and most well-maintained. JC rentals was very prompt in the few issues that we had. The only complaint would be if you are sensitive to mold issues that with any home that is older and on the beach, without a dehumidifier, there will be mildew or mold smells in the vents no matter how many times they treat it. Other than that the apartment was clean for the most part and well-maintained. It is apparent that the owner has invested money in updating the Decour and making it feel like an upscale beach home. There is normal wear and tear on the carpets and those should probably be replaced soon as they are stained And distract from the overall nice decorations and bedding. Can’t beat the view of the sunset every night off the porch. The pool could’ve been a little bit warmer since it was advertised as heated. But you can tell that the property managers really care for the property well. During this day, my family and I decided to go ahead and rent again next year. The minor issues listed in this review really are standard for a vacation rental in a building that is older on the beach. No major dealbreaker’s.
