The woman in the office was very welcoming and the condo was clean and very nice. A beautiful view, a lovely updated kitchen and bathroom with a large shower. My reason for giving a 4-star rating versus a 5-star was due to the bed. The mattress needs to be replaced. It was lumpy, hard, and creaky. My husband woke up with a back ache everyday. The beach towels were also very thin and did not resemble towels at all. Otherwise, a nice place but a bit pricey.

Great visit to Florida. The condo was clean and tastefully decorated as pictured. We found plenty of restaurants that had re-opened since the Fall hurricane and also made good use of the huge pool & patio area

We were in the Beach Cottages for the 1st time as we have stayed in the Sand Dollar for many years. The place was lovely top to bottom and simple things like having your own parking space undercover was a great touch. Really enjoyed this condo, perfect location. The only thing lacking was beach chairs, but you could rent for $175 for the week right out front of the condo. We left a cooler and a beach chair to sit down by the water in. The bed was a little uncomfortable, so we purchased a foam topper for one side of the bed to help with how firm the mattress was and left it there as well. Would definitely stay here again, loved how quiet the area was.

The cottage was beautiful and spacious. Bed was comfortable but couch was very uncomfortable as it sunk in the middle. The bed in the couch uncomfortable as well. The unit was in a great location. Space was great. The mattress/boxspring is very creaky and noisy, and could use replacing. Sofa is extremely difficult to get out of. Recliners were awesome! Kitchen was well stocked. We bought a small frying pan since the ones available had been scraped badly. Beach was beautiful, just wish the unit came with some beach chairs. Overall, a great place. Management should provide a map on how to get to pool and beach.

Beautiful condo that was supplied with everything we needed. Great ocean view from the balcony. Easy walks to restaurants and coffee shops. Enjoyed a relaxing time. Would highly recommend this condo.

Property general conditions. Air vents need to be cleaned as debris were falling from them, couch is lumpy and is hard to get up, tv speakers are not working properly.

We really enjoyed our stay. The building and surrounding buildings were very quiet, which was wonderful! The condo was very nice and clean and the amenities were as described (linens, appliances, utensils, etc.) were as well. We'd give the bed 0 stars :(. We didn't think it was comfortable at all, but we prefer a softer mattresses (vs one that is very firm). The pillows were nice, though! This part of the shoreline doesn't have very many restaurants within walking distance, but the Suncoast Trolley has a stop right outside the building, so that was convenient.

Beach cottages was filled with people but it's so nice and quiet in our condo. The staff at sand dollar Jc resorts were always so nice and helpful. The 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo was spacious and clean. The furniture was very nice, king bed was cozy, updated kitchen and bathroom. Only improvement needed is the front door locks need to be replaced. We had a difficult time locking the door and required a maintenance man to come and show me some "tips".

This unit is absolutely stunning and was perfect for the 3 of us. My son (9) had a blast and loved opening the doors and gates for us, with the codes. We loved the family atmosphere of the entire complex, nothing like a resort at all. We had a total of 12 traveling with us and it was so easy to get around to each unit and meet in the garage or at the beach. We had a great vacation and would highly consider this unit again if we planned to visit the area again.

The property was overall very nice, smallish pool, hotub,, amazing beaches! We stayed late April 22' and like the previous review from above(May 22') I would agree on the kitchen items needing a look through. The property boasts of a new kitchen but most of the things inside the cupboards are scratched, chipped or overused. The tephlon pans were very worrisome as the they were very scratched up (stainless steel wouldn't do that) no sharp knives was also annoying as the point of the kitchen is to cook to save $$ on eating out. Also a tip: you have to wiggle the key to get the door open.Couldn't find a sheet for the pull out bed but we used a blanket.Otherwise we had a good time here.

The place is bigger than the pictures show. Nice remodeling job of the bathroom and kitchen. The view is spectacular and the balcony is perfect. The pool deck is one of the best in the area. The beach location is perfect. Just a couple items that need to be fixed. Ceiling fan needs to be balanced and the screen doors are difficult to operate. The door lock is very difficult to operate. The unit location is not clearly marked so it took awhile to find the unit when arriving late without directions and the map they give you is useless. Last, could use a few more kitchen items. Limited silverware and some items need to be replaced. Other than that, I would recommend this for couples.

We loved our 3 week stay. The office staff was great! So helpful and pleasant. The view was awesome. The kitchen and bathroom nicely updated. The ice maker worked great. We are tv people and were very pleased with cable stations provided. It was nice and quiet too never heard our neighbors. Great underground parking. We suggest updating kitchen stock, silverware, sharp knives, frying pans, plastic cups ,coffee pot, a new set of dishes and mugs. A new welcome Matt. We are looking forward to our 5 week stay next year.

The condo was absolutely gorgeous! The only thing that I might suggest is that main door into the condo be cleaned up a bit. It looks like it's had several locks replaced (so several holes in that area). Bed was a little hard for our liking, but really no complaints. Had a great time and would definitely consider staying in this room again.

The unit was recently updated and is very nice. It looks out over the pool with a beach view. However, the complex was full of teens, so we didn’t use the pool much. Usually, there were 8 to 10 in the hot tub. We stayed the week of July 4, so maybe that’s a factor. Beautiful unit but very noisy and crowded condo complex.

We have strict rules for minimum age to rent and maximum occupants but we aren't the only rental company in that building, and don't have control of them. And it was July 4th weekend.

Overall, this is a good property. You have a great view of the gulf. I loved sitting on the balcony every morning while having coffee. The kitchen is great and has updated appliances. Basically, the photos of the condo are accurate. There were a few drawbacks which is the reason for the review. The bed is a king bed, but it has a firm mattress. My wife and I had to go buy a mattress topper just to sleep on it because we normally sleep on a soft mattress. We had issues getting the TV to work which at one point involved maintenance correcting it. The door to the condo faces the street so there is street noise. Finally, the management company doesn't do a very good job when you check in. They hand you a packet of info, tell you where to park, and that's about it. We actually had to figure out where the condo was actually located.

We did enjoy our stay at this property. It was wonderful having the beach so close by, and very nice view from the property to the beach. The apartment was pretty neat and organized, but we felt that the floor was dusty and sandy from the first day. Also, even that we were able to get some rest, we wish that the bed was more comfortable or newer. Other than that it was a great time in a nice place.

Beach Cottage II is a great location for rest and relaxation. The condo was clean & newly renovated. Unfortunately they did not replace the living room television. The television was old with terrible video @ audio. I would suggest this condo unit replace the living room TV with a Roku TV.
