August is here and what a great time to be on the beach!

Just had a few minutes and took a walk out  back.  Our main office, as some of you may know, is on the ground floor.  The beach is about 50 yards away.  It is a tough life I know, but...somebody has to do it .

There is a warm breeze blowing in off the Gulf and you can smell suntan oil and salt air.  The water is a clear cyan blue today and there are people in sea kayaks riding by.  Kids are shoveling sand, digging their way to who knows where and enjoying every minute of it.   You can kind of feel the end of summer approaching.

What a wonderful time to be at the beach.  Everything is so laid back and relaxed.  I'm sure you can easily picture yourself sitting in a chair by the water, digging your toes in the sand and marveling at the luxurious texture.  It puts your mind at ease just thinking about it.  There are people fishing on the Long Pier and walking on the beach.  Everything just has such a casual feel to it today.

So...just thought I'd pass along a really nice moment.  Hope you took a minute to enjoy the interlude.   Perhaps we will make this a regular part of our blogging efforts.  It can be a bit of a beach break for those of you sitting in your office or at home daydreaming about a beach trip.

Are You Visiting This Season?

No oil...not here. The oil spill off the coast of Louisiana has not affected our beaches.  The beaches of St. Pete/Clearwater remain as pristine as ever.  No oil...not here.

We are incredibly fortunate to have a natural barrier/diversion in the Loop Current located in the Gulf.  To date, it is unlikely that our beaches will be affected.

So...here it is, in writing...

Be assured that we have no oil on our beaches.  Be further assured that, if for some reason, we did develop a problem with BP oil on our beaches we will refund your deposit.  In addition...if we develop a problem with BP oil on our beaches that would affect your vacation we will let you know as soon as we know.  We, unlike many other companies, do not collect anything other than your deposit before you get here. The deposit is $300 per week per reservation made.  Final Balance is paid at check in.  You can be confident in our promise. 

These beaches have been a home away from home for countless vacationers over many years.  We have hosted many of you so please...continue to enjoy our beaches and the many  attractions and activities our beautiful area has to offer.

Florida's Gulf Coast is a Great Place to Visit!

Come visit Florida's Gulf Coast.... there is just so much to see and do!  Our area is home to some of the top rated beaches in the country.  Miles and miles of white sandy beaches, beautiful warm waters and world class sunsets.  Our annual average temperature is a balmy 73 degrees and we average 360 days of sunshine each year!

And...we offer more than just fabulous beaches and wonderful weather...

We have loads of shopping opportunities... from small specialty  boutiques to premium malls and outlets. 

We are close to numerous attractions like Busch Gardens, Adventure Island and just a short drive to Disney Parks and Universal Studios. Universal recently opened The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in June of this year. 

The Tampa Bay area is well known for professional, amateur and minor league sports.  We are home to the Tampa Bay Rays along with spring training for the New York Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays and more.  We are also home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Tampa Bay Lightning.  We have horse racing, greyhound racing and casino...all within a short drive of our beaches.  Our area also offers a wide variety of excellent golf courses.

The Tampa Bay Area is also home to arts and culture with venues such as the Dali Museum and the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center.

We have para sailing, boat rentals, deep sea fishing, eco tours, dolphin tours, sunset cruises, pirate cruises, ghost tours and much, much more.

Welcome

Welcome to our new Website!  We are so excited to present our new site specifically  designed to help you find your perfect vacation home away from home.  The new site features listings, descriptions and new photography for each of the resorts we offer.  The new site also features listings, descriptions and new photography for each of the individually owned condominium units we offer.  We listened to our guests over the past few years and realized you want to be able to see the condominiums and resorts to enable you to make selections tailored to your vacation needs.  You may now use these features to select a resort, select a condominium in that resort and to book your reservations on line.

Want to chat with us first?  We are still here in our two beach offices (at Ram Sea and Sand Dollar) taking reservations as we always have.  So you can still pick up the phone and call us toll free (800-535-7776 or 800-421-7776).  Our reservationists are here on site, are very familiar with each property and can provide information or answer questions.

Service is, and has always been, our specialty.  We can help you with just about anything you need from information about restaurants, shopping, para sailing, local attractions, etc. to a car rental or baby crib for use during your stay.  We have two fully staffed offices to serve you with guest services, reservations, housekeeping and maintenance.  

Please review our new site and let us know what you think.  Let us know if you have questions, comments or suggestions.  We are always happy to hear from you.   We will be using the site to communicate upcoming specials and local events along with features on attractions, etc. so...check back often.  We will also use new features on the site to send emails with updates and information.

The development of this new site has been a truly gratifying experience.  We have waited so long to be able to finally show you our beautiful condominium vacation rentals in this fashion.  We hope you are pleased with the offering.
